I was seated at my chair for the past 48 hours trying out the Xampp and Joomla installations. With your superb presentation you helped me to get up after finishing it. I am really thankful. God Bless You.

This baffled me for a bit but eventually I got the correct version of xampp installed (1.72 – with php 5.2) and then the joomla install was easy.

well I had the security password set in xammp already so I had t use a password, but thanks guy. You got me through all of it. All I need to do now is figure out why the administrator log-in won’t allow me in…. You rock dude!

to connect to your database, you make the username as root and leave the password blank.

when you set up the password to connect to the administrator section of your site, you must add a password.

ive confuse with the last part of the password. i typed admin as my username and leave the password blank due to the installation section you have told, but cant login.
